Design for Distancing Guidebook

We’re excited to announce…

The &Access and Yard & Company team was one of ten team selected out of over 160 submissions to the Baltimore Neighborhood Design Center’s Design For Distancing Guidebook, a free, online resource. Businesses, cities, and citizens around the world will be able to access the Guidebook for inspiration on how to improve their own spaces. The Guidebook will be available for download later this month.

Our submission, MicroDistrict, recreates a business district in the public realm to provide for safe access to goods and services needed most in communities hardest hit by COVID-19.

Many of the concepts in the guidebook will be constructed for a neighborhood in Baltimore and we hope the guidebook can serve as a resource to your community!
